I've been listening to Koushik ever since I first heard his "Battle Times" ep on Kieran Hebden's (Four Tet)Text Records way back in 2001. Although I really liked "Be With" (album & ep), as well as all of his other releases (under his own name), this is his best yet.
Hip-hop-based, downbeat 60s psych-pop, indeed! (one2zero)
